Sawdust from debarked logs and chemically untreated residues from the wood processing industry is used for the production of pellets, so the material does not contain bark and other admixtures, which cause a higher ash content. Before pressing, the sawdust is dried to a moisture content of 8 to 12% and crushed to particles of 3 to 3.5 mm. The sawdust is then surface moistened and heated to a temperature of about 100 ° C to improve the molding properties. The sawdust is pressed with a die press to a standardized diameter of 6 or 8 mm and subsequently cooled to a temperature of about 40 ° C. After pressing, the pellets pass through a separator on which the odor is separated from the pellets. The pellets are then moved to the hopper. If necessary, they are then taken from the container either for filling into plastic bags weighing 15 kg, or into textile big-bags weighing 1 ton for larger volumes of loads.The pellets meet the highest quality requirements set on the market and the entire production is “EN Plus A1” certified. This ensures that you get strictly controlled and high-quality fuel that ensures optimal use of your heating system and the best calorific value.
